Objective and Activities
This project provides basic and advanced training on renewable energy grid integration in Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Its target group consists of specialized staff from key institutions in the public and private energy sectors. Specialized personnel are trained in grid operations and in how to develop an enabling economic and policy environment for the energy sector. The training focuses on transmission and distribution grids, flexible conventional power generation, storage systems, demand-side management, and communication technologies for flexible system control. The basic and advanced training plans include seminars, workshops, and webinars in English, as well as a mobile exhibition in English and Spanish.
