However, the Moon Palace Group in Quintana Roo has understood that nature itself is the best ally for reducing climate change vulnerability.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_27887\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27887\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/DunaCosteraEnReparacion_MoonPalace.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-27888 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/DunaCosteraEnReparacion_MoonPalace-700x525.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/DunaCosteraEnReparacion_MoonPalace-700x525.jpg 700w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/DunaCosteraEnReparacion_MoonPalace-360x270.jpg 360w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/DunaCosteraEnReparacion_MoonPalace-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/DunaCosteraEnReparacion_MoonPalace-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/DunaCosteraEnReparacion_MoonPalace.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-27887\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Coastal dune restoration \/ \u00a9 Moon Palace<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This ecosystem-based adaptation measure (EbA) began in 2019 with the technical support of the project Adaptation to Climate Change in the Tourism Sector (<a href=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/?post_type=portafolio&#038;p=9599\">ADAPTUR<\/a>) of the <em>Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.giz.de\/en\/worldwide\/33041.html\">GIZ<\/a>), The Nature Conservancy (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.org\/en-us\/\">TNC<\/a>) and the United Nations Development Programme (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mx.undp.org\/content\/mexico\/es\/home\/projects\/resiliencia---proteger-la-biodiversidad-amenazada-por-el-cambio-.html\">UNDP Resilience<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>To date, the commitment of the hotel group through the Environmental Management Department remains strong;
