In this context, GIZ\u2019s project \u201cPreparation of an Emissions Trading System in Mexico\u201d continuously carries out capacity building activities for the facilities required to participate within the ETS so that they have the theoretical and practical tools in order to participate in the System.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-20075 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/1-26-360x238.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"702\" height=\"464\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-26-360x238.jpg 360w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-26-768x507.jpg 768w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-26-700x462.jpg 700w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-26.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Within this framework, the Federal Electricity Commission (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfe.mx\/Pages\/Index.aspx\">CFE<\/a>), the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/semarnat\">SEMARNAT<\/a>) and the ETS project implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (German Cooperation for Sustainable Development, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giz.de\/en\/html\/index.html\">GIZ<\/a>) on behalf of \u00a0the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmu.de\/en\/\">BMU<\/a>), joined forces and organized the workshop &#8220;Introduction to the Emissions Trading System (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.giz.de\/en\/worldwide\/68789.html\">ETS<\/a>) for representatives of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE)&#8221;, with the main objective of building capacities for compliance with the ETS in participating facilities of this System in Mexico.
