{"id":19389,"date":"2019-07-17T15:37:30","date_gmt":"2019-07-17T20:37:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/recursos-sobre-financiamiento-climatico\/"},"modified":"2020-10-19T16:36:45","modified_gmt":"2020-10-19T21:36:45","slug":"resources-on-climate-financing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/en\/resources-on-climate-financing\/","title":{"rendered":"Resources on Climate Financing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Towards a financing mobilization route to achieve national climate change goals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The document was prepared by the Climate Finance Group for Latin America and the Caribbean (GFLAC), with the support of the Climate Initiative Mexico (Iniciativa Clim\u00e1tica de Mexico, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iniciativaclimatica.org\/\">ICM<\/a>) and the Deutsche <em>Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.giz.de\/en\/html\/index.html\">GIZ<\/a>) GmbH<\/em> (German Cooperation for Sustainable Development), and is aimed at demonstrating the main findings on the vision of different representatives of the governmental, financial, private, academic and civil society sectors, regarding Mexico\u2019s need to mobilize climate financing, its main challenges and recommendations on the subject.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/ruta-de-movilizaci%C3%B3n-GFLAC-GIZ2018.pdf\">Document Access <\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis of International and National Public Budget for Climate Change<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Its objective is to recognize the financing flows destined to climate change mitigation and adaptation actions in Mexico and to know how prepared the country is, economically speaking, to comply with the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC). Likewise, the main barriers in this regard are analyzed and recommendations are issued.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/An%C3%A1lisis-de-Presupuesto-Internacional-y-Nacional-P%C3%BAblico-para-Cambio-Clim%C3%A1tico_VF171218.pdf\">Document Access<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financing Tracking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/en\/portafolio\/mexican-german-climate-change-alliance\/\">The Mexican-German Climate Change Alliance<\/a> carried out the analysis of the Budget of Expenditures of the Federation (PEF) and the Transversal Annex number 16 (AT16), where Budget Programs, components and responsible units contribute with resources from various Budgeting Branches for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
