Laura Choriego facilitating the Introduction to Capacity WORKS workshop.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Workshop attendees included 27 participants (63% women and 37% men) from the following agencies: at the federal level, the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/semarnat\">SEMARNAT<\/a>), the Ministry of Energy (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/sener\">SENER<\/a>) and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/hacienda\">SHCP<\/a>); from the Government of Mexico City (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdmx.gob.mx\/\">GCDMX<\/a>), the Ministry of the Environment (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sedema.cdmx.gob.mx\/\">SEDEMA<\/a>), the Ministry of Economic Development of Mexico City (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sedeco.cdmx.gob.mx\/\">SEDECO<\/a>), the Ministry of Administration and Finance (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.finanzas.cdmx.gob.mx\/\">SAF<\/a>) and the General Coordination of International Affairs of the Government of Mexico City (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.internacionales.cdmx.gob.mx\/index.php\/es\/\">CGAI<\/a>) ; representatives from the <a href=\"https:\/\/naucalpan.gob.mx\/\">Naucalpan de Ju\u00e1rez City<\/a> Council also attended.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17262\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17262\" style=\"width: 589px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17262 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/IM2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"589\" height=\"389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/IM2-1.jpg 589w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/IM2-1-360x238.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 589px) 100vw, 589px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17262\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GIZ. The Introduction to Capacity WORKS workshop group<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Capacity WORKS is a management model designed for cooperation systems composed of state actors, civil society and the private sector with a common social impact goal. The model was developed in 2006 by GIZ (formerly GTZ) and, after a two-year pilot phase in 2009 and 2010, it was introduced into the company as a management model for sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p>FELICITY is an initiative implemented by GIZ, with the support of the European Investment Bank (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eib.org\/en\/index.htm?lang=en\">EIB<\/a>) and Germany\u2019s Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmu.de\/en\/\">BMU<\/a>), that provides technical assistance in the development of low-carbon infrastructure projects in cities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17265\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17265\" style=\"width: 589px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17265 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/IM3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"589\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/IM3.jpg 589w, https:\/\/iki-alliance.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/IM3-360x203.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 589px) 100vw, 589px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17265\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GIZ.
