During 2019, Pronatura Sur held two important events around Sustainable Rural Development. 1. The Low Carbon Rural Development Forum in Mexico, which took place in the Senate of the Republic in coordination with the Committee on Environment and Climate Change, and 2. The State Forum on Rural Development, Natural Resources and Climate Change, held in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, in coordination with the Planning Commission of the State Congress.
In both events, experts on climate change, sustainable development, biodiversity, and natural resources provided a space for a high-level political dialogue from different perspectives.
